For the past several years J.H. Benedict Company has been a proud sponsor of the Formula SAE team at Bradley University. Each Year a team of mechanical engineering seniors builds a formula car to compete in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Formula Car. This activity is performed as part of their required senior capstone project experience.
J.H. Benedict offers students the opportunity to work side by side with our engineers and skilled craftsman during critical design and fabrication phases. Student actually operate the machinery used to fabricate many of the critical one off components used in the assembly of the teams formula car.

Pilot Build / Low Volume Production

In order to assist many of our customers with the transition from product concept to production launch, J.H. Benedict has several manufacturing facilities and personnel available to complement your “in house” product design staff and assist with programming, operating, maintaining the equipment to produce your product. This service is available from the first article piece through the prototype build, initial pilot run and into low volume production schedules. |

Product and Process Validation
In conjuction with our customers’ specifications, we will validate the planned manufacturing process. This effort takes into account key process variables & parameters, part drawing dimensions and manufacturing capabilities. Once the process is stabilized, we will document our work by creating an “Approved Manufacturing Process”. |

Production Manpower and Facility We have several manufacturing facilities with space available for customer to install and arrange equipment in a manner that represents your factory floor layout. We have the floor space, the experience and the personnel to bring our customers ideas to reality. |
